Spring Honors Recital

Attention music lovers and choir fans! Armstrong Auditorium is pleased to host the Spring Semester Honors Recital for the music programs of both Herbert W. Armstrong College and Imperial Academy. In addition to the typical offering of school ensembles and select music students, this free concert will feature the world-premiere of a new choral work by assistant music director Mark Jenkins. The top-tier campus ensemble, the Armstrong Chamber Choir, will debut Prayer of the Righteous — a half-hour cantata that follows the outline of what is commonly termed the “Lord’s prayer,” but expanding on it by fusing together some of the most beautiful biblical text on the subject. Don’t miss this glorious opportunity to relish Jenkins’ exquisite a-cappella harmonies in the acoustically intimate Armstrong theater!
