Celtic Throne II—Psalter of Ireland presents an epic story from the mysterious annals of ancient Ireland. This trailblazing experience, a fusion of Irish dance, music, theater and cinema, traces the history of Ollav Fola, the sixth-century B.C. Irish sage and legislator commissioned to perpetuate the legacy of King David in the British Isles.
Ollav’s story begins with Jerusalem’s destruction in 585 B.C. With his homeland in ruins, Ollav and his entourage—including Tephi, a Judean princess—journey to Eire (Ireland). For years, Ollav rules Ireland from County Meath on the magnificent Hill of Tara.
Ollav immortalizes the traditions of royal Jerusalem, establishing his new home as a musical island, a paragon of culture and law, scholarship and education, and instilling within his people King David’s passion for singing, music and Irish dance.
Celtic Throne II—Psalter of Ireland is not just another show; it is a journey into the heart and soul of Ireland. Join the Celtic Throne family as we debut this first-of-its-kind performance!
